34/100: Late post…

From Cambodia, dropped off my bags at my house just to pick up another backpack. Made my way to Quezon Province for a weekend getaway. Sadly, the coast guard were not letting anyone sail off to where we wanted to go. Ended up with a group of surfers who were also not allowed to cross the sea. Pitched a tent at a surfer’s camp and decided to just try our luck again the next day.

The day’s mishaps turned out to be a very fortunate accident as I got to meet a bunch of cool people who share the same passion in traveling as I do.

33/100: Last day of our Indochina trip. This cute little girl accompanied us while we were having breakfast. She was drawing things on a sheet of paper, among them is a cat. When we asked her what the cat says, she answered like this. So adorable! @teemeegurl (at Tropical Breeze Guesthouse)

32/100: So this just happened today. No further explanations needed.

31/100: Touchdown Siem Reap! Finally tasted another traditional Cambodian dish which we didn’t get to try in Phnom Penh.

Amok chicken (more traditional is amok fish but our hostel ran out of fish). Steamed chicken, kefir lime leaves, coconut paste and egg. Yummmm! (at Pub Street, Siem Reap, Cambodia)

30/100: Tried to tour around despite the rain. Phnom Penh is so much like Manila when it rains. Just a few minutes of heavy downpour could cause flooded streets. Flood water kind of smells and looks like what we have in Manila streets.

After lots of calls to the bus companies via one of the very helpful staff of our hostel, we finally booked tickets to Siem Reap. Yey! Happy Khmer New Year! :)
